Meet The Owner

I’m so happy you are here! My name is Angel Randone, the owner and head baker at DotPops! Bakery.

I fell in love with baking at a very young age and once I started, I never stopped! I first began making cake pops for friends and family in 2009. They then told their friends, who told their families, and before I knew it, I had countless requests. Little did know at the time that DotPops! Bakery would be born a year later.

During the next five years I was honored to make hundreds of weddings, birthdays, holidays, and graduations Poppin’ with crazy delicious cake that was different, fun, and often the hit of the party! I have also catered for many organizations including The American Heart Association, Nebraska Humane Society, and University of Nebraska Medical Center, just to name a few. By far the most exciting event was attending the guest suite of the MTV Movie Awards where DotPops! were included in the celebrity swag bags. My most memorable moment from that adventure was, after Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite ate one of the pops, he put me over his shoulder, ran out of the room, and declared loudly “That was the best thing I’ve ever eaten!”

Soon after, I made the bittersweet decision to close my bakery. My two sons were young, and this mama bear wanted to be with them more than anything. Fast forward to 2020 and my boys are now in high school. The time has come for my beloved DotPops! Bakery to open again! Thanks again for visiting my site.
